About Andrew

Andrew joined the RFCSNQ team in March 2023, servicing the Cassowary Coast region.

He has been a Rural Financial Counsellor since 2007 and has assisted a vast range of rural businesses, farming, and fishing operations. Throughout these 16 years, he has covered most agricultural enterprises.

Having worked with farming businesses through drought, fire, floods and many other threats, I will add value to your thinking and planning. I am there to improve your circumstances and make a difference. I can relate to the challenges faced, and will support business planning and changes that will assist you to reach your goals.

I am a CPA and hold a Master 5 commercial skipper’s ticket. I also established and ran a successful blueberry farm, which has given me first-hand experience of the challenges facing farmers, from production to marketing.

Andrew’s qualifications include:

Support for disaster impacted small business - TC Jasper

Dedicated support is available for North Queensland small businesses in defined disaster areas that experienced direct or indirect disaster impacts from Tropical Cyclone Jasper and associated flooding from 13 to 28 December 2023, to re-establish operations, maintain employment, and become more resilient for future disaster events.

The program provides additional small business wellness coaches and financial counsellors in impacted areas.
