Our Rural Financial Counsellors, Small Business Financial Counsellors and Business Wellness Coaches provide tailored assistance to help you and your business get back on track following disaster.
Our team have extensive experience in working with rural and small businesses through the disaster recovery process. They can work with you across many aspects of your business recovery, from accessing government grants to planning for a strong future.
We provide practical support to help you make your own decisions - working with you by phone, online or we can meet in person.

Tropical Cyclone Jasper
Cyclone Jasper and associated rainfall and flooding
(13 - 28 December 2023)Dedicated support is available for small business (including tourism and rural), in defined disaster areas that experienced direct or indirect disaster impacts, to re-establish operations, maintain employment, and become more resilient for future disaster events.
Rural and Small Business Financial Counsellors
Our local financial counsellors provide structured, practical support to get your business back on tack, including:
identify what grants, disaster assistance and financial support are available in your area and whether you are eligible
help with understanding application and document requirements
help with accessing eligible funding including state and federal government programs and packages
connect you to other support services including our Business Wellness Coaches.
Business Wellness Coaches
Managing your personal wellbeing also supports your family, friends and business. Our Business Wellness Coaches work with you personally, helping you move forward and can:
support you with personal emotional coaching in collaboration with your Rural or Small Business Financial Counsellor, or independently
help you to identify the source of your challenges and create strategies to enable you to move forward
connect you to support from other services.
