About Cam

Cam is a highly experienced business manager and adviser with more than 35 years practice as a chartered accountant and accredited management consultant. Cam was the founding Director of Kleinhardt Business Consultants & Brokers based in Cairns servicing clients throughout Australia and Papua New Guinea since 1993.

Cam’s early career was as an insolvency specialist with greatest focus in that area on corporate reconstruction and business recovery (helping businesses in financial distress). After arrival in Cairns, Cam progressed those skills to also making smaller companies and businesses bigger and better.

Cam's work is focused on sustainable business growth and development with particularly strong emphases on operational performance enhancement and governance. Cam has extensive experience in consulting to business clients across all industries throughout the entire North and Far North Queensland regions.

Cam has extensive specialist experience in the tourism and hospitality industry and in destination planning and development. He also has a comprehensive knowledge of regional issues particularly those throughout the North Australian region having undertaken numerous professional engagements in the field and in having served in honorary positions on a number of Boards and committees over a prolonged period.

Cam holds degrees in Commerce and in Law from the University of New South Wales.
