About Paula

Paula is a dedicated Business Wellness Coach with a diverse background in business startup, mentoring and small business financial counselling, alongside the facilitation of federal government supported resilience programs and consultancy services. With 19 years of experience running her own businesses, she has personally navigated the highs and lows of the entrepreneurial journey, gaining valuable insights through often challenging realities.

Having worked in both metropolitan and remote regions, she understands the unique challenges that small business owners can face, especially during demanding economic times and unexpected natural disaster events.

Paula is passionate about every aspect of the business ownership journey. She understands the deep connection between owning a business, personal identity and mental health and wellbeing. By recognising how business-related stress can reflect in different areas of a person's life, she can provide mental health insights that support both personal and professional needs. She helps clients identify their strengths, expand their knowledge, and build resilience in both their business and personal lives.

She currently serves as a volunteer board member for a not-for-profit organisation that supports business owners who may need support with an entrepreneurial restart.

Support for disaster impacted small business - TC Jasper

Dedicated support is available for North Queensland small businesses in defined disaster areas that experienced direct or indirect disaster impacts from Tropical Cyclone Jasper and associated flooding from 13 to 28 December 2023, to re-establish operations, maintain employment, and become more resilient for future disaster events.

The program provides additional small business wellness coaches and financial counsellors in impacted areas.
