David Arnold

David Arnold is the CEO of Rural Financial Counselling Service North Qld, and the Central Western Qld Remote Area Planning and Development Board (RAPAD), a position he has now held since 2003.

About David

As a partner in RAPAD Employment Services Qld David is also a director of RESQ, which delivers the Federal Governments Community Development Program. David is also the Deputy Chairman of the Central West Hospital and Health Service (CWHHS), chair of its executive committee and member of the audit & risk committee, since its inception in 2012, and member of its finance committee since 2016. RAPAD is a Registered Training Organisation which David has ultimate responsibility for. David has considerable experience in senior management and company directorship, gained over the past two decades through his current CEO position and his other governance responsibilities. As a volunteer, David has been President (7yrs), Vice President and remains a member of the Longreach Home and Community Care entity, which delivers care to the frail, aged elderly and disabled.

David has undertaken multiple governance training programs, through the Australian Institute of Company Directors, CEO leadership training (Leading for Strategic Success) through the highly recognized Mt.Eliza Business School and negotiation skills training through Clayton Utz solicitors. David manages or is a director of both, for-profit and not-for-profit entities. David brings leadership, commercial acumen, finance and governance skills.
